About The Company

Fresno Tractor Parts began in the mid fifties, during the agriculture and construction boom that established California as the world leader in both industries. Under the ownership and guidance of Troy Sparks, Fresno Tractor Parts responded to the needs that were a part of those growth industries by developing a quality repair and parts business and becoming one of the most respected used equipment dealers in Central California. Incorporated in October of 1981, Fresno Tractor Parts has become one of the areas leading rental dealers with one of the largest fleets of crawler tractors in the San Joaquin Valley.

Bradley K. Sparks joined the business full-time in 1978 and became the vice president when the company incorporated. When Troy Sparks passed away in 1992, Bradley not only assumed the role of president of the company, but also recognized the possibilities for growth that the nineties represented, and quickly strengthened the company's financial base. What had started as a three man repair shop in 1959, has now grown to become a business with more than thirty employees and the company is positioned for dynamic growth.

During 1995 the company began operating as simply, Fresno Tractor, Inc. Indicative of the wider range of services, our move into the new facility has literally quadrupled the size of our shop and gives Fresno Tractor more than 34,400 square feet of covered parts, service, and repair space. The new facility also has more than 3,000 square feet of administrative, parts, sales, and machine sales office space. In addition to the new facility, which sits on 6.8 acres and is an ideal heavy equipment show room, Fresno Tractor also operates one of the largest used parts warehouse and salvage yard in central California, which brings its total operating acreage to 43.5 acres.

Fresno Tractor, Inc. has also paid careful attention to staffing, expanding the parts and service departments, hiring additional mechanics, and building a top notch sales team. We've recently added state-of-the-art technology with the new IBM AS400 main frame, software, applications, and programming that will allow Fresno Tractor to manage not only the present facility and sales efforts, but also provide for additional growth as service and sales sites are added to serve Central California in the future. Recently, Fresno Tractor, Inc. has implemented this heavy equipment web site and hopes to use its "global" internet presence to enhance sales and service opportunities.
